Better date change tracking

Hi Chris, thanks a lot for your suggestion! While you can track date changes in your tasks' Activity Stream, I can see how your idea can improve our Reporting functionality and that it will make our Baseline chart way more informative. 

Also,  I suggest you to take a look at this related suggestion and upvote it if this is something you also support - ability to track dates when tasks change their statuses. This is also related to the Reporting experience in Wrike. Feel free to share any other feedback about the Reporting experience in Wrike. 

This is a high priority for me as well.  We manage multiple projects concurrently across many teams.  From a management standpoint it is imperative to have visibility when dates change (at the task, project levels as well as reporting and Dashboard), and why. 

Also agree.  This is a must have feature to effectively manage accountability.

Where is the "activity stream"?  Is it where people leave comments?  I see alerts like task title changes and description changes, but date changes do not show up there.  

Hi Holly! Jumping in for Vlad here. Date changes should be shown there, unless a task date was changed back right away, and as long as "all updates" are being shown:

What if you don't change a due date specifically in the task, but it's been changed because it's dependent on other tasks that have been changed.

That's where I'm having an issue.  I have a very large project (30+) tasks that are all dependent on the previous tasks.  What I need to see is what the date was originally scheduled for and what the new date becomes each time I make a change in a higher up task that affects it.  I'm not seeing that.

I agree, we would like to be able to pull the baseline date into a report and compare it to the current end date. 

I would like to see this functionality as well.  if a task is past due the manager moves the date to the new time. it would be important to have a report to see how many times the tasks for a specific person were moved because it shows the tasks did not get done.

We have a similar need.  We want to be able to track when a Wrike milestone due date has been changed.  In addition to that, we want to know what the original due date was and what it was changed to.  This also goes for tasks/subtasks/projects.  You can see that activity via the stream record but know where else.  Being able to have this in a report or show up in the activity report would be a great addition.

Please up-vote this.  It would be a great feature to have.

Agreed, our team needs a feature such as this.  Project Management is proving difficult without it!
