Inherit Date for Parent Task

I set up views that include e.g Todays Tasks. I also organize tasks with Parent and Subtasks. I'd like the option for the Parent to inherit the earliest date of the child so as I set any given task to a given date, the parent task will include that date so in my Todays Tasks views I can view the day's task by ParentTask organiztion.

Hi Michael! It sounds like subtasks are a big part of your teams workflow, so I understand why the functionality related to them is important. I think Megan is requesting something similar in her post - to help us keep things consolidated could you +1 her original post? Let me know if that post is about the same functionality, that way we can go ahead and close this one for comments.
