Architectural Engineering Firm considering Wrike for Improved Project Management

We provide building systems engineering services to architects, developers, and building engineers. Our mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers and managers currently use Trello for centralizing project details, planning and tracking deadlines, and project or task assignment. We feel that we have now grown out of the software. Wrike is on our list of software options.

Are there any other architectural engineering firms using Wrike to up their project management game? How well has Wrike fit your needs? And in what ways has this help improved problems such as scope creep and delayed deadlines? Do you use any of the external user components? How well does timetracking work for project insight and how about integration with your Timesheets?

Feedback on all, some, or just one of my questions is greatly appreciated. Principally, I would like to get an understanding on how other Architectural Engineering firms are using Wrike.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Paul, thanks for posting on the Community! We love conversations around use cases and workflows, so I'll go ahead and move your post to the Best Practices section, which is the perfect place for these discussions. I'm also really interested in hearing about tips from other architectural engineering teams!

Hello Anatasia and thank you. I had searched your forum for a topic similar to my main question, but I bet your team knows better if there are any similar discussions available relating to my additional questions. The additional questions are less necessarily related to Architect Engineering user feedback. External articles or testimonials would also be appreciated. My goal is to collect as much supporting info available to convince our stakeholders. Kind Regards.

Paul, thanks for getting back to me! I'll try my best to put together some info, posts, and additional resources to help answer those questions. To make sure I'm gathering the right info for you, I'd love to learn a bit more about your team's use case. I'm particularly interested in learning what your typical projects looks like, as well as the workflows you have in place for working on them and the functionality which would be most important to you. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Was there any feedback on this post? We have the same question as far as what is the expected workflow in a Project Type > Phase > Task driven typology?  How do Spaces, Folders, & Projects line-up with the prior workflow?

Welcome to the Community Brian Goldman 👋

It looks like no one shared any Architectural Engineering use cases here yet. I'd suggest starting with taking a look at Wrike's customer stories - although Architectural Engineering is not one of the categories, you may find Construction or Technology cases interesting.

For more specific product-related questions, please try to share a little more detail so that I could help 😊
