Add document links
Hi!
It would be nice to be able to link to local documents or at least documents that are on the intranet.
Why do we need this? Classic example is the quality-management documentation, that is on our sharepoint: There is no point in uploading individual documents to Wrike, but to be able to link to them from Wrike would be very helpful.

Hi Laurenz, thanks for posting here! This topic was brought up in another Community discussion recently (Link local files in tasks), and I'll share the explanation about it here too. Linking to local files directly from Wrike isn't possible due to security standards of modern browsers, which don't allow the opening of local files and directories from remote sites. It's still possible to simply copy and paste the file path, which does require an extra step, but could help in some cases. Once again, thanks for sharing your thoughts here, I do understand that it would be quicker to just click on a link to access a file. Happy to answer any other questions!
Can you link to Google docs?
Hi Christine, thanks for reaching out here! Yes, it's possible to link to files from Google. Apart from just adding a link to the file in the task description, you can choose to add files stored in Google Drive right from the attachments section in Wrike tasks, here's how:
