New Checkbox type in Request Form

Hello everyone,

We'd be more than pleased if your development team added a new checkbox type in the request forms.

Such item type would be different in the way that it would have a quantity selector in the right of the checkbox.

The idea is the following:

Our business deals with sales of merchandise, we have different products that we sell so we'd like to have a way to let our customers pick the products they need and the quantities of such products at the same time, in the same checkbox.

Something like the following image.

Kind Regards,

Raynier Del Villar

Hi Raynier, thanks for sharing this idea here! I really appreciate the image. Just to make sure I understood the idea correctly, I wanted to clarify a bit. For this use case, do you meant that the questions would be a list of merchandise items, with this counter displayed next to them? Would the counter display "0" initially, and if a user changes it to "1" or another positive value, this would indicate both the selection of an item, and its quantity? Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Anastasia, thanks for taking the time to review my idea. Yes, you have a pretty idea of what we need. Yes, the question would be a list of merchandise, so far I´ve been able to do so with the checkbox question type.

It might be both ways (whichever you find easier to develop) either you let me click on the checkbox, and then after that, activate the counter or you put the counter with the name of the merchandise option so that when you increase the number it marks the checkbox.

I personally feel it would be better to let the user click on the checkbox first so that when the user doesn't select a particular checkbox, it doesn't appear in the task (having 0 in the counter therefore been redundant) after you complete the request form.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Raynier, thanks for getting back to me and sharing the additional info! This is a really interesting use case, and while it isn't on our current roadmap, it's great that you posted this idea here. I'm interested in hearing what other Community members think about it, too!
