Link local files in task
Hi,
I'm looking for a solution which helps me to open a local file in my network via the link I see in my task
(typically something like file:///M:/109 )
I believe Chrome has some built in prevention for this idea and the only add-on I found is really outdated.
I don't wan't to upload this info into any cloud solution, simply want to open the file locally...
any idea?
Ethan Schweizer how did you exactly link to the network? starting with "file://" ?
Nils Troll I wasnt able to get that to work in the task, but in the comments I didnt have to use that prefix. I literally just pasted the smb:// filepath into a comment and turned into a link that opens in my finder:
smb://prod-xxx.int.tr.com/zzz$/firmsites/3/3694968
