Time log editing from the task
When logging time from a task, once the time is registered, if I want to edit I have to either choice than remove the time log entry and redo the input or switch to the time lo g view and edit.
I would like to be able to edit a submitted timelog directly from the tasks and not only through the timelog view
Hi Francois, thank you for posting this on the Community! You're right, currently it's possible to switch to the Timelog View to make edits directly from the task, but this still involves switching views. I can see how it would be useful to be able to edit recent entries right from the task itself, and while it isn't on our current roadmap, I'll definitely send this post over to other users who support this idea.
Bringing this one back up as a UX issue. While the Timelog View can indeed be used, that isn't especially clear and users are just deleting/re-entering time when corrections are needed. I'm attempting to educate, but that should not need to be the case. That said, and without exaggeration, every single user I educate asks why they cannot just edit within the task.
I second Francois's ask. The Wrike team explained that it was a mistake that users can edit time entered directly from the task, as it was never intended to work that way, but this was a great mistake because it was a very helpful feature. It adds extra clicks/time to get from the task to the Time Log view and then delete from there. We track all of our time each day in Wrike on multiple tasks, and I constantly need to edit these entries.
Hello, Wrike community, I was having a query and would like to know if the task on wrike is created and if the team has entered a time in that task, suppose we rename the task. will the time entered earlier go away because the task is renamed or it will still remain the same? Please help.
