Filter by Blank and Non-Blank Custom Fields

I'd like to be able to filter by Blank and Non-Blank fields so that I can create a dashboard to easily see where data hasn't been entered. This is specifically for a Custom Field I am using, but this could also be for non-Custom Fields. My workaround is to create a report that has this functionality available. Thanks.

Hi Ian, thanks for posting here! I have some good news: it's actually possible to filter Custom Fields based on whether they're filled in. Here's how:

  1. Open the Filters panel.
  2. In the Custom Fields section, select the field you want to filter.
  3. Choose the "Doesn't have this tag" parameter to view tasks where this field is blank. To see filled in fields, select "Has this tag".
