Allow Timeline views in Dashboards

I would like to setup a dashboard showing a timeline view for each of my project members, so I can see what their schedules are like. Right now it seems that only List views are allowed in the dashboard. Timeline views would be great!

Hi Marc, thanks for leaving this feedback! You're right, you can't create Dashboard widgets from the Timeline View. 

It's a Business and Enterprise feature, but I do want to mention the Workload View, which lets you see tasks by assignee on a timeline and helps you get an idea of who is working on what. By default, the Workload View shows tasks from a Folder/Project (and its descendant Folder/Projects), but you can check the box next to "show full workload" to see all tasks assigned to a user (as long as those tasks are shared with you). @Stephanie : We have Enterprise and I did not manage to add timeline views to dashboard.

Could you please check if this feature should work?

Hi Mark, thanks for your comment! As Stephanie mentioned, I'm afraid that it is not yet possible to add a Timeline as a separate widget to a Dashboard. Thank you for adding your comment here and weighing in on this request! :)
Something which could potentially help in the meantime is switching to the Timeline or Workload View and saving it as a bookmark on your toolbar, allowing you to get redirected to your team members schedules anytime you need. I hope this was helpful, let me know if there are any other questions!

I absolutely agree with this feature being added. Having a timeline view on the dashboards would be a great way to see a snap shot, in real time, along with all other tasks on the dashboard. Can this be added?
