Could I please get an update the progress of this feature? It's the only feature Wrike is missing at this point.

    I'm with everyone here.ย

G Suite Calendar integrationย is too cumbersomeย compared to the intuitive nature of the rest of Wrike. It also feels like I'm double jobbing assigning both a time for Google Cal and a duration in Wrike.ย

We're still in trial phase at the moment and everything is going great but this feature is causing an issue.ย

    Cheersย

@Niall Frustrating, right? We ultimately went with a different (lesser, in my opinion) product after our trial specifically because of this missing feature. The ability to schedule appointments was just too important and we couldn't overlook it. Otherwise, Wrike was hands-down the best of the lot. Someday...

ย I'd also like to know what you went with. I think we're going to keep with Wrike in the faith that this will be updated within a reasonable timeline because, as you said, everything else is super.ย

Although this is a real pain point, we've spent too much time reviewing other solutions that didn't get buy-in and Wrike fits 90% of what we're looking for so I'd rather get moving forward with a great solution than keep looking for the perfectย one.

    Here's hoping that's the right decision! ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ

@Konstantin @Niall To be honest, I feel kind of crummy about naming a competitor here. I will say that I used G2Crowd to find several serviceable candidates. Good luck.

    @Ryan, you're 100% right there and I shouldn't have asked.ย

Either way, we're staying with Wrike becauseย the support has been excellent and I appreciate their openness even if to say they're struggling with a feature and don't have an answer yet!

I'm hoping this feature can be introduced!

    ย

I think even something a bit more "vague" like "Due Morning/Afternoon/Evening" could be helpful,ย and then individual teams can define the convention of what eachย "timeframe" meansย for their processes.ย

Please add "Time of Day" function, not just Duration.

This has been talked about for over a year. Is there a schedule to add this feature or a deadline to decide not to add? @Wrike

@Thread Hi all, as we've mentioned this is something the Product Team has been discussing for some time and it's absolutely something the team would like to do in the future. The feedback, votes, and information posted here have added huge value to the internal conversations around hour-to-hour planning and how people would ideally like to use this aspect of planning in Wrike.ย
    ย
However, it's a massive technical undertakingย and due to existing and essential planned developments for this year, the team won't have the scope and time to implement the functionality in 2018 due to existing pending and essential developments. I want to be transparent here and ensure everyone understands where the request currently stands: It's something the team is looking to implement in the future, it's not on the Product roadmap for this calendar year.
    ย
We understand the popularity of the request and we will, of course, be leaving the post open so please continue to add your use-cases, input, and votes, and we will comment here again when we have new information. Thanks to everyone for their continued engagement and input!

I am saddened to hear that this will not be out in 2018. I am an avid Wrike user and really, this is something that would help our team immensely. Glad to see Calendars! Love them, and now Tabs, but I think this one should move up the ladder on implementation.ย  imo.

+1, actually +10 (speaking for my organization subscribed to Wrike). We're not the biggest organization on Wrike, but we are avid users and have loved what is has done for our organization. Our clients have even noticed our increased responsiveness. There are still a couple stubborn ol' timers (who also happen to be the bosses), though, that won't switch over to it...they're main reason: it doesn't have the ability to set a due time.

For me, it would just be awesome to have the option (not required) to set a due time on a task...just a field somewhere in the task. And then to have that field hook a reminder to my email to tell me when something is almost due (i.e. remind me 15 minutes before). So I guess that makes another field for when I want to be reminded.

Is the reason we're not getting the functionality because the Wrike coders are trying to make an elaborate, awesome and integrated time planning feature? While that would be cool and consistent with the Wrike mantra, could we just settle for simple fields for now?

I don't have as many time sensitive items (they're all just get done as soon as possible) and I always have my next task-to-do at my fingertips (starred tasks were a big help for planning my busy days)...so I don't care as much. But, I do see where the ol' timers are coming from; there are meetings, submittals and certain client expectations that require an hourly time factor; and there are instances when I have things due at a certain time of the day (not just the end of the day).

Boost this up on priority pretty please! Thanks.

Adding a comment to also give a +1.

I'm surprised something that has been talked about since 2016 still hasn't been implemented and isn't even on the roadmap for this year. Even adding a feature as simple as allowing a custom field to appear beside the title and date while in "board" mode. Something as simple as "10am" or "Due at 10am" would be extremely useful - a visual clue without having to click into a task.

    Thanks

Very much agree that this is an important needed feature.ย

    ย

MVP - It would even be helpful if custom fields could have a type option of time (if you can have a type option ofย Date, then it should be simple toย have a type option for time). I've added a custom text field for this but it really doesn'tย work well since i can't sort it correctly unless I switch my company to military time....ย But if you have a type for "Date & Time" or just "Time" this would give users the ability to use it in many different ways.ย We could, for example, have a column for "Delivery Time", "Start time", "End Time" or "Move Out" - whatever titles are relevant to differntย wrikeย users. It would at least be a start that could one day be merged into a proper start and end time field.

Thank you Stephanie for keeping us updated. I too want to add my support for this feature. In our organization, we make appointments that need a start and end times and having only the date is just not sufficient. As a workaround, I added a new field in the Table view for the time, but that didn't work as expected. I also sync Wrike calendars with Outlook and everything in Wrike appears in the "All Day" section of the Oulook calendar which is not very useful. Hopefully, implementation of this gets escalated given the popularity of this request.

    Hi all,

I think this feature is very important, especially when we plan a meeting, it doesn't make sense to plan it without a due timing.

Moreover the Outlook integration is very important in the business world where MS Outlook is the standard (not Google), in this case we are forced to create twice the task, in wrike and in Outlook as well.

    Thanks a lot for help

6 months ago I commented and caught flak for my negativity. Maybe I was harsh at the time, but it seems they'veย still yet to implement such an essential feature, andย worseย still require the annual 5 min users to sucker people. This itself is unacceptable and they deserve every ounce of criticism received.ย They anticipate users disappointment and aim to extract value before people realize how little benefit such service provides.ย

One can't simply decide to have "more, unhappy customers" over "fewer, happier customers" and still play the victim when criticized. My criticism isย merely reflective of the fact that I did want this system had not been for my aforementioned discrepancies with regard to unethical pricing policies coupled with missing features essential to users. What the combined describes is many hard working people being cheated out of their time and money. I'm the bad guy for pointing that out, or this isn't the proper place.... No worries, this will be my final contribution.

We just went live on WRIKE and this was our major concern during deployment as well. Iโ€™m hoping this is slated for early 2019 if not this year as it does sound like a crucial feature for most.
As we set up our templates, weโ€™ve included a โ€œTime Dueโ€ custom field to be used for specific deadlines, which we are now using for any time specific task. While custom fields can be included on reports, this is not shown on Dashboards and Calendars. Would developing a way to add those filtered custom fields (Time Due) to Dashboards and Calendars be an easier solution for the time being for WRIKE? There are actually a couple of other custom fields we use that I would love to see on Dashboards and Calendars as well.

Adding another voice to this already crowded thread, however as a Studio Manager the lack of time sensitive task scheduling is a major bug bearย within our design team.

Weย regularly receive tasks requested by aย specific time - ie media or print dispatch deadline or client approval deadline.

We have manually included a "due time" in our custom request forms, however when we are under the pumpย with multiple incoming tasks daily, the manualย system leaves too much room for error.ย

It would be wonderful to either A) implement time sensitive tasks or B) implement custom fields (due times) on dashboards.

This way theย crucial time sensitivityย could be pickedย up at a glance, instead of clicking into the task & manuallyย scrolling the brief.ย

Our agency has just made the move to Wrike & although we are finding multiple winsย with the program, we really hope this feature isย implementedย ASAP.ย
