Using RegEx for data (source) selection in Dashboards/Reports

Are there any plans for adding Regular Expression functionality when selecting Data Sources in Report creation or Dashboard Widget creation? Or even RegEx to completely finetune the data selection (=Source + Filters)?

The flexibility it would provide, will undoubtedly benefit many people.

For example: you can select all folders beginning with prefix/suffix/tags, ... like "Roadmap_", "Backlog_", "[xxxx]", ... at once. 
With complete control over data selection, you would be able to lay unique connections between folders, projects, owners, statuses, etc. without the need to put everything in one space or even folder, cross-tagging hundreds of folders, or other workarounds.

Something I'm thinking off for example: "Show all Backlogged tasks in all folders/projects where the current user is owner of the specific project(s)". This will allow for one dynamic dashboard /report which every PM can use and see immediately all the Backlogged tasks, for all their projects.
The same can be useful for milestones, but also for normal tasks that are residing in specific folders with a certain pre- or suffix.
