New Table View Editing - Copy/Paste & Dragging

Since the new table view begins editing fields upon the first click, the ability to copy/paste more than one cell at a time and dragging/extending cell values is no longer possible.  I used this functionality frequently and wish it was still possible in the new table view.  I suggest keeping the functionality of editing as described in the article linked below.

Hi I agree with this post is the plan for the same functionality to be available in the new table view? I note you also can't get the progress field.

Hey folks! Our team is planning to add copy-pasting multiple cells in the future 👍 Thank you for your feedback!

+1 for this.

Removing the drag down to repeat makes the new table view close to unusable (despite the many great new features).

Use case: Assign a task to someone and then drag down to assign that person to all sub-tasks.

Hello, I see the plans to add copy paste are in progress but is the drag and drop of multiple tasks on the roadmap as well? As mentioned above, the workaround works but is another set of clicks and the drag and drop is an absolute must for team efficiency.

Hello Nicole DiTrani, thank you for chiming in. May I kindly ask you to elaborate on what you'd like to achieve? Currently, you can drag and drop the data of multiple tasks to copy their values into other cells:

That is not what I am looking for. I want to be able to drag multiple tasks from one project, to another, within the same folder. I wanted to drag and drop all checked off tasks in the first image into the "Test project 1 - first deployment" But it only moved the 02 tasks when I tried to drag them all. See images.
