What's New in Wrike – February 2025

Our first 2025 edition of What's New in Wrike is all about new releases from the past weeks: Timesheet updates, Calendar improvements, AI, and more.

Timesheets - Reminders, Submission Rules, and Work Schedule Integration

Available on Business plus and higher plans. Submission rules are available on Enterprise Pinnacle plan.

  1. Timesheet Reminders are innovative automated alerts designed to prompt your team to submit their timesheets punctually. These reminders are invaluable for maintaining accurate time tracking and adhering to payroll, billing, and reporting schedules. By reducing the necessity for manual follow-ups from managers, these reminders enhance your team's productivity and ensure compliance. Timesheet reminders can be set up via the new Reminders tab. For comprehensive setup instructions, please refer to this Help Center article.

  2. Timesheet Submission Rules are designed to enhance control, ensure compliance, and streamline the timesheet approval process.

Now, rules can be tailored to specific work schedules, with validations for daily or weekly submissions. Organizations can choose a hard restriction to prevent timesheet submissions if hours exceed or fall short of configured capacity or opt for a soft restriction, which prompts users for confirmation if their hours don't align with set capacities. These features provide a structured yet adaptable approach to ensuring compliance and oversight.
