Fix Login Problem: Email Address or Password Not Accepted

Situation

You are trying to access Wrike using your email and password and encounter the 'Please double-check your email address and/or password' error.

Troubleshooting

The most common reason for this situation is forgetting your password. Another possibility could be that you’re entering an email address that isn’t linked to your Wrike profile, or it’s been misspelled.

If you have not finished your registration, or have always used SSO (Google, Apple, Office 365 or SAML) to log in to Wrike, you may not have a Wrike password yet. In this case, you can create your Wrike password by following the instructions to reset your password as described below.

Check the email address

Ensure you're using the correct email address linked to your Wrike account. You can confirm this by checking your mailbox for automated messages from Wrike. If you don't see any, you might have used a different email address in the past.

Additionally, make sure the email address isn't misspelled. Even a small typo, like an extra letter or a missing character, will prevent you from accessing your account. Double-check for any spelling errors before attempting to log in.

Reset password

If you've forgotten your password and can't log in to Wrike, you can use this link to reset it. Please make sure to request password recovery at your primary email address in case you have added several addresses to your Wrike profile.

The link will prompt you to enter the email connected to your Wrike account. You'll receive an email allowing you to reset your password. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password and regain access to your account.

If you've requested a password reset but haven't received the email:

  • Check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes, emails from Wrike might be filtered into these folders.

  • Check for email filters. If you have any email filters set up, they might be redirecting Wrike emails elsewhere.

  • Check your email's storage. If your inbox is full, the email might not be delivered.

  • Search for an email coming from noreply@wrike.com.
  • Wait a bit longer. Sometimes, there can be a slight delay in email delivery due to server issues.

  • To ensure proper email delivery from Wrike, whitelist the IP subnets mentioned in this document.

Please note that users in accounts with enforced SAML SSO don't have Wrike passwords and can't reset them using this link. If you're a SAML SSO user, and you're having trouble logging in, please contact your system administrator for assistance.
