Project Progress

Is the project progress only viewable in the Android app.  It would be really amazing to be able to used this on the desktop app or web browser.  Seems to be one of the main things missing when migrating from Microsoft Projechelp.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010428113-Project-Progress-in-Android-App#progressts to Wrike.

Hey Jennifer, this is a feature our Product Team is investigating and they are using the Android as a prototype. We're collecting feedback on this feedback post so it would be great to hear your thoughts there 🙌

About the duration of completed tasks is great. The problem, although we can understand it as an advanced progress report, but still there is something missing here.

Supposely there are 10 tasks, total duration are 10 days, and within 3 days only 5 tasks are completed, but these 5 tasks may not be matched to priority order (in the sense that the rest of incompleted tasks should be finished first).

Running task without knowing which one should be completed first, or running task without following the steps properly may cause inefficient result.

So, yes we can calculate progress report based on both metric, but still we can't calculate for how far those tasks following priority orders (following step by step)  exactly as settled.

It's like, we can see which parts are being completed, based on quantity and time, but we can't calculate exactly how far we do the tasks step by step.

It's like preparing a cooking. Yes, we can finish 5 tasks within specific time, of 10 tasks (slicing onion, fry the chicken, etc) but those 5 tasks must be finished at the last steps, not at the earlier steps. This will make the taste of our cooking become improperly optimized.

Hope, wrike can understand what i am offering.

Thanks in advanced

Hi Seremonia!

It's currently not possible for Project Progress to take into account the priority of tasks when calculating the final percentage. This is a great suggestion though! I'd recommend making a post in the Product Feedback section, once it reaches 60 upvotes someone from our Product Team will provide you with a status update on that possible feature!
