Making analytics into a dashboard for collaborators
Hi there,
How do I make the standard analytics page into a dashboard so that I can share it with our collaborators who currently can't see it?
I tried building a dashboard from components (most of them are there) but can't find a way on including the pie chart showing a summary of tasks active, closed etc.

Hi Kat, you won't be able to show that sort of data in Dashboards or share this data format with Collaborators as their license doesn't include this view.
What data are you looking at adding to the Dashboard for the Collaborator and we can discuss some ways we can provide an overview for them 👍

Hi Kat, so there's no way to share the Analytics View or Dashboard view with Collaborators. You'd need to make these users Regular or External users for those options.
You can, however, create a Report and share with a Collaborator. Here's an example of one below that shows tasks and their current Statuses. I'm also happy to help build some more Reports if you're looking to share other data with the Collaborators.
Create a Task Report named, for example, "Task Statuses". Use the Report Builder to choose the Folder(s) that hold the Tasks you want to show in the Report. Now add any filters you think are appropriate (I've haven't added any filters to my report below) and then choose to Group the Report by 'Status' in the last section. Click Save & View.
