Enable copy and pasting of @mention
I often need to copy and paste the same comment containing an @mention to multiple sub-tasks. However, when doing this the @mention is not active and appears as text. I feel it would be beneficial for @mentions to remain active when copied and pasted.
Thank you,
Mike
I agree! We copy comments all the time especially if there are multiple people we've tagged and we've actually missed very important project updates because of this. And idea if this would be possible Wrike team? Thank you!
Hi Christopher Halkovic, sorry for the late reply.
Once this idea gets 60+ votes here we'll be able to add a status.

Please enable this simple and logical function ASAP.
Hi David R. Stockin, welcome to the Community 🙂
Thanks for adding your interest in this functionality here. There are no plans to add this at the moment, but if that changes we'll be sure to let you know here.

OK, so here is what I found out:
There no right-click option for copy.
I rarely use the cntrl keys. I had to look up what cntrl+c even meant.
Why do we have a right-click option for paste but not copy?
Hi David R. Stockin! I've tested this, and it looks like I can copy and paste by right-clicking 🤔 Please let me know if you'd like me to raise a ticket with our Support team for you to troubleshoot!

Apparently, the copy works for the online version but not the desktop app version.
David R. Stockin Yes, I've tested on my browser version as this is what I use daily. If you'd like to suggest adding a right-click "copy" option for the desktop app, could you please create a separate Product Feedback post for this?

I agree, this would be helpful to have for the desktop app. I use groups when possible, but sometimes a project/or tasks aren't tied to a group. Being able to copy and past @ mentions would be very helpful.
Hi Melissa Mourer, thank you for your comment! Please, feel free to create a separate Product Feedback post about this suggestion so other users can easily find it and upvote it 🙂
Thank you!
