Is there a way to batch move due dates out by 1 week?

I need to push a project back because it was bumped by a higher priority. Is there a way to move all of the dates out 1 or 2 weeks without changing them all individually on the table or Gantt chart? I have never gotten the automatic alignment of dates to work in Wrike, so that's not an option for me.

Hey Jen Loomis,

One thing that I learned from my old Wrike Professional Services contact and continue to do is the following. (I use it for blueprints and live work!)

  1. Open Gantt chart
  2. Find your first task
  3. Click and hold SHIFT, then click and hold your first task, dragging it out by in your case 1 week

You'll see a blue arrow show up and that indicates that you are moving stuff in tandem!

A few things to note:

  • This works well when your tasks are connected through dependencies (anything that isn't connected by a dependency won't budge)
  • Any work that's in a Completed or Canceled status won't budge - you can remove any dependencies and let them stay where they are

I use this method as an alternative to adding a start constraint to the first task; I suppose that can work too, but I like to rescheduling without adding those constraints!

I utilize the table view a lot, so I'm not sure if this will work with other views.

1. Select the items you'd like to move

2. In the top header area select "Dates"

3. There are options to set the start dates and due dates for everything to one date OR shift existing start and due dates.

4. Assuming you want to shift existing dates, select "shift dates" and select how many days, weeks, etc you'd like to shift.
