Create a Comparison of total effort hours for active project types.

I am looking for a way to create a comparative chart that compares total effort hours for Project Request types in relation to each other. I can easily compare project counts as they relate to each other as a percentage of the whole, but project effort hours need to be considered. A low number percentage project type count could actually be the biggest effort hours needed by the team.

Sorry for the delay here. Here's how you can create a comparative chart that shows total effort hours for Project Request types in relation to each other.

  1. First, turn on the effort rollup (automatic calculations) in the Table view.
  2. Then, configure a custom Dashboard widget with the following configuration:

                    - Reporting on: Project
                    - Metrics: Effort
                    - Break by: Item type
