Auto Save Updates in Forms

Is it possible to auto save updates in forms. Our forms have questions with multiple conditions and routing rules. I recently tried to save my work and for some reason the form would not save. I then tried to just publish it so the changes can be captured. It said it was published but once I went off the screen it was not published. I have a ticket open now with Wrike and waiting a response but it was an hours worth of work down the drain. It would be nice to auto save changes.

Upvoted, Soraya Noel.

I totally feel the struggle with this one; some of our forms are very complex too with many pages and many conditions. I noticed that if you have two separate windows of the request form editor open or for example if you are working on editing a form and so is someone else, whoever saves last will have their changes pushed through. It's happened to us before and it was extremely frustrating to have wasted so much time. One thing that Wrike Support was able to do for us was to restore a past version, however you have to go through support to do this and they just have version # with the save date and time, meaning you have to know exactly when you pushed your changes. Hopefully this is something they can do for you too, unless there's a wider issue here which is that your work didn't save whatsoever. I wonder if what you experienced was a bug or lag in the system that didn't capture your changes, but either way, it's not fun to lose all that time and effort! Plus, working through complex forms can be a bit dizzying.

I have experienced that freeze when working on forms as well.  Thankfully my form was only a page, but it was still annoying to have to redo all the changes I had made.

Hi Soraya Noel  🙋🏻‍♀️

Thank you for your feedback! Having an autosave feature for request forms is a great suggestion to prevent data loss from accidental closures or errors. Being able to restore previous versions would certainly be valuable as well.

Since you're already in touch with our support team, they should be able to assist you with recovering the unsaved data.

I appreciate the input from Anna Giacobbe and Russell Sprague as well. I'll make sure to pass all your feedback along to our product development team. Thanks again! 😊

I am having this issue right now where I am unable to save. I did the same thing last night where I published then noticed it did not actually published and all of my work was not saved. I started again this morning and was able to save one section at a time and then it stopped again. I did notice that I had 2 forms open in edit mode. Once I closed one, I was able to save again, BUT now I have continued working and it will not save again. Problem is I have no idea why it won't. It would be helpful to get an error message or something indicating why it will not save.

Similar issue for me. It looked like I was unable to save or publish my form but then when I finally closed out of it after trying to save or publish it several times and went back to the "Request forms" page, there were several versions of the form created.
