Interim Approver Assignment - redirects while out of office
Is there a way to easily add interim approvers to Wrike tasks while the main assigned approvers are on PTO or extended leave?
We have certain types of requests that have short SLA (need quick turn around) so if the normally assigned approver is out of office, we need to be able to defer to a secondary approver, ideally without having to manually change all the forms and blueprints that call for those approvers... not sure if there is an 'easy button' somewhere for this.
Ex: Product Manager1 (PM1) is the normally assigned approver of incoming requests which need to be answered in 24 hours. PM1 is taking a week off without access to Wrike. We'd like PM1 to be able to turn on a temporary redirect of their approval assignments to Product Manager2 (PM2) while they are out, and have them be able to turn the redirect back off when they return (or set the redirect for a specific duration of time).
Hi, this is something we struggle with as well and I haven't come up with a good solution other than to have a standard backup person who gets an @ if an approval hasn't been given in X number of days.
This is something that all of our other software allow and would be great to have in wrike
