Spam attack over the weekend?

Did anyone else get loads of email notifications of spam posts all over the forum at the weekend?  I had over 50 emails from Wrike that were notifying me of new posts all over the forums.  What is Wrike going to do about stopping this happening again?  I don't want to unsubscribe from new forum post notifications as this is normally a very useful feature.

Yeah, I had over 800... I am also curious about how this will be prevented in future.

I received over 150 emails from the Betas and More and the Wrike Mobile forums. I reached out to Wrike support and was told this:

Over the weekend a significant number of spam posts were indeed added to our Community. Since you are subscribed to updates from one of our Community sections "Betas and More", these spam updates were sent to you as multiple email notifications. We're really sorry about this, and apologize for the inconvenience!
At this point, all spammers were blocked, and our team has implemented measures to avoid such issues from reoccurring in the future.

I would definitely appreciate a more formal communication from Wrike in regards to this; what happened and how it can be prevented in the future. I thought maybe they'd have sent an email about this or made a post in the Community, but perhaps they also woke up on Monday morning to this surprise.

Thanks all - it's a shame that Wrike haven't addressed publicly addressed this issue - it's apparent that many people were affected by this, and it's not a good look for the platform that it was allowed to happen!

Interestingly, all my comments are put into an approval pending status before becoming publicly visible. I suspect this is a countermeasure to this weekend's events.  Again, there's been no communication of this though!  Is anyone else seeing this?

Phil Taylor Yes, I am seeing the same thing. I agree, this is probably their countermeasure.
