Hi all!
As exciting as this feature has been to try out, I'm still befuddled by the lack of the "Tasks To Do" filter - a filter which many of my team's old dashboards - and therefore task timelines - have been built around. The filter is not only present in old dashboards, but also in table view, list view, board view, etc. This feature of Wrike allows us to create tasks that not only have 2-day timelines but also 2-week or 2-month timelines, and therefore is needed before I'll ever feel comfortable bringing the rest of my team into new dashboards - therefore, it can't be replicated by just using start date and due date options. I understand that the omission of this filter is likely due to a compatibility issue with the graph and calendar widgets, but it is odd to me that such a simple filter has not been replicated when looking at the table-format widgets.
I've been able to replicate my old widgets by simply copying them over for the time being, but can't build out any new widgets with this filter. If the determination has been made that this filter will never be added, please indicate as such so we can begin adjusting our processes - that being said, it sounds absurd to me that we should need to change our processes due to the elimination of what we see as a fundamental feature of Wrike.
I've attached a screenshot of where I find this in the filters screen on table view, and also how it is implemented in some of our dashboard views.

Zach
Hey Zach, we renamed this filter in new dashboards, and it's To Do Date now. If you only need overdue tasks, then set the Overdue checkbox in the Due Date filter as well.

Vladimir Bugay Glad to hear! It's a little confusing in that, when old dashboards are converted to new, it doesn't pull those settings over into that field, but thank you for the update and making the change!

Hi there,
ย
All reports and analytics boards have the function to export to csv or excel.ย ย
Will this be included on New dashboards?
ย
Thank you
Anne-Marie
Hey Anne-Marie, we have no plans to export the entire dashboards into Excel or CSV because it's not entirely possible with the combination of tables/charts/indicators/calendar/stream widgets. However, it would be possible to export data for certain widgets like tables into XLS.
Could you please elaborate more on your use case for exporting dashboards into XLS/CSV? It would be helpful.

Hiย ย
So I've used the dashboard to create a form of status report.ย I would like to be able to export that widget into excel to give us more options for merging with other data and reports.ย Or in order to share outside of wrike.
ย
ย
Thanks! In your specific case, I believe it would make more sense to use regular reports that are exportable into XLS. Alternatively, you can get the same data in the table view and export it.ย

In this case I wanted to filter by the entries on a free text custom field, which is possible on new dashboards but not on regular reports or in table view on the folders.
ย
Got you and thanks for the clarification!

One big hurdle holding us back is the best way to show our workload.ย I have experimented with the Workload Chart, and thatโs not bad, but we find that on our install, the assignee of the install doesnโt get decided until closer to the time of install.ย Because of this, the workload chart doesnโt tell us a clear story.ย I have also played with the dashboards to see if I can create what is required, with limited results. See below.
ย
Until now, we have been using an excel spreadsheet we built to model our future work load, and this is what we would like to repeat with Wrike. (To save entering the same data in two places) Also see attached screenshot.ย
My goal is to show budgeted hours/available time, beside actual hours.ย My dashboard shows this, but its driven off of a start date, so for a long install that goes on for weeks, it skews the picture. Where can i go to get some good help on solving this problem?
Kyle, you should be able to build what you need using new dashboards. Based on the use case shared you need to compare actual time spent vs allocated effort and you can do that using the settings on the screenshot below. Please check it out and let me know if you have any further questions.

Vladimir Bugay thanks for this swift reply!ย So I think I understand what your showing on your example.ย In my case, I'm not looking to show time spent, only future effort and future over allocated.ย My struggle is that I prefer not to assign these install tasks to anyone until i get close to the time, because it often ends up changing anyway, and just puts too much action in the installers inbox for being assigned items that later get changed anyway. Because of this, I end up with a N/A bar for all the tasks not yet assigned to anyone.ย See below.ย I suppose i could assign it to a a fake email. Or is there a good way to turn off notifications in the app for every time someone is assigned something?ย
Kyle, one way to achieve that is to allocate effort to job roles, not individual users. The effort has to be allocated to a user or job role to be accounted for.

Vladimir Bugay with a little bit of reading this looks like exactly what I need, but unfortunately not available on the Business Pluss plan. Disappointing...
