Releases ⚡ - Personal-to-Account Field Conversion, Enhanced Request Form Branching & New Display Options in Dashboard Widgets (10/23/2023)
Feature Updates
- Custom Fields ☑ - Personal Space Fields Can Now Be Converted to Account-Level
Fields
You can now convert custom fields created in a Personal Space to account-level custom fields. To do so, go to the “Manage custom fields” in your Personal Space:
It is also possible to change the custom field settings in the New Table View:
- Request Forms 📃 - New Branching Icon for Collapsed Questions
We've added a visible branching icon for collapsed questions in the request form builders. You'll now see a splitting arrows icon next to options with conditional branching, helping you easily identify options without having to click on each question to check.
- New Dashboards 📊 - Additional Widget Menu Options for Item Display
We've added several new display options to widgets created in New Dashboards. These include:
- The ability to show or hide item locations:
- An option to display items as either a hierarchy or a flat list:
- The freedom to change the display mode to a table or list:

I like receiving the release notes in email but they are increasingly difficult to read in Gmail. I believe the graphics are resized for this page but when they arrive in Gmail they're the original (huge) size and the fonts used look very small and formatted oddly (example below). Not sure if I'm the only one but thought I'd mention it as it's been like this since I became a customer in November last year.
Same for me in GMail. Now I just pop over to this page (first link in the email) and it is much easier to follow!
Excited to check out the new dashboard features! 🤓
I'm already using the new Dashboard features and loving them!! 💖
When do the dashboard features go live? I'm not seeing them in my instance.
Maria and Daisy, thank you! Please let us know what things do you like in new dashboards and what you would like to see improved.
Laura, new dashboards are in the Labs yet, so they need to be activated by the account owner. Please refer to the post below.

I don't see a way to make mass edits to a dashboard widget in the new view. Am I missing something? Also, is there a simple way to create a widget that shows "not'' e.g. a widget that shows all tasks for individuals but "not" a certain individual?
Colleen Hoetjes Ellie Brady thank you for flagging this situation about the size of graphics, we will look into it 👍
Wade Bishop I'm sharing your case with our dedicated team 🙂
Hey Wade, can you please clarify what you mean by "mass edit"? Changing statuses and assignees without opening the work item view or anything else? Unfortunately, there is no way to exclude certain individuals from the assignee filter yet, but we plan to improve it. The new dashboards are still in the Labs and being actively improved based on the feedback we get. Thank you!

Love the new dashboards as well... except that a pie chart only lists the slices in order of size/percentage, and doesn't give you the ability to order them by "option name" - i.e. in proper order.
Will the new dashboards eventually be mandatory like lightspeed? my team is asking.
Fred, thank you for your feedback! We plan to introduce chart customization options soon, including customization of sorting. Now values are sorted from largest to smallest.
David, we have no plans to make new dashboards mandatory and expect users to upgrade organically gradually because they are/will be simply better. That's why we collect feedback rigorously and address it continuously. Please let us know if your team has any concerns/issues with the new dashboards.
