Customizable Proofing and Approval Notifications
I would love to see better customizable notifications for Approvals, and a generally more robust approval flow. There are already some great community posts on some of these topics, but a few of them are closed and I can't comment on them anymore so I wanted to provide a new post with some suggestions.
There is a long thread here about Proofing and Approval Notifications, but the problem with the current notifications is that it requires someone to teach all users (and hope) they @ mention someone, or it requires them to turn on other notifications that will overwhelm them if their main function is to typically only review and approve. I saw your comments on this one Lisa and I totally understand that it's possible, but those settings go beyond just having a document to approve and will confuse and overwhelm them with notifications that don't pertain to them. I will have a lot of collaborators and a lot of typical users whose main role is reviewing documents and approvals and having an email notification for these reviewers is crucial. This is especially true for my busy executives who are not going to be checking the Wrike Inbox and it requires a lot of extra effort in order to make this happen.
I am looking into the possibility of either using Wrike automation, or Wrike Integrate to send all approvers notifications when they are added, but I would love to see this as a standard option that is automatically checked when an account is created.
Thank you for such detailed feedback on Proofing & Approvals and notifications Michelle McMillen! I'll now share it with our Product team.
For editing your post, you should be able to see a gear icon under your post/comment and one of the menu options there will be "edit" 🙂
