How to make a project item type standard in a space?
I introduced a custom item type (project type) to use in our R&D department for all projects. I could not find a way to tell the space that all new projects should be this custom item type. Can anybody tell me where to find the settings? The space still uses the standard project as project (what I want to prevent).
Hi Sven Passinger! It's possible to manage custom item types suggestions. For example, you can manage those suggestions for a specific folder or space by clicking on "+ Item", and then "Customize menu":
More options are described in this Knowledge Base article. Does this help? 🙂

Hi Lisa
that is all clear, but it does not solve the problem.
If you make a new project via the +-Button on the left navigation panel you come to this screen seen in screenshot. Now I want only allow a custom item type project not the standard project in this space. The same with the plus button on the top right. I could not find any way to restrict the types of projects / tasks on the top level of a space. Taht is a big problem as I wanted to allow only our kind of project and within this CIT only specific other CITs.
At the moment it seems that the space can not be restricted like that. But that makes the whole kind of restricting subitems useless, as people always can make a standard Wrike project and within this all kind of items.
Sven
