Wrike in Public Education

I am an IT professional in public education and have been using Wrike for nearly 4-years. We have really ramped up our use of Wrike and have woven it into the culture of our admin team. We find Wrike to be the perfect tool for managing district goals. The goals are the result of a comprehensive plan spanning multiple years. This goal format (which is extensive) has become a blueprint we will reuse for years to come. Why do I bring this up? Project management spans many industries including where we send our children to school. Where else might we see the need to manage projects that we do not often think of?
Maybe in something like a auto service shop? It could be used to track what cars are in the shop and what kind of work they need done.
Hi Jeff Buettler, my wife is a school teacher and he his responsible to create school timetables, I'm thinking about creating using wrike. Have you tried Wrike to do this job?
Hi Jeff Buettler, we are setting up an inventory system for our Video Studio and Photography Studio. We use an Outlook Calendar to reserve the rooms for studio time, but we are checking our equipment in and out using Wrike. We are still in process but expect to use automation to send a sort of pilot's list of proper usage to the person checking the equipment out. We will also use automation for a short survey when the equipment is returned.
We use the approvals function for file approval, but also for gathering consensus or asynchronous brainstorming.
If you review the Wrike Training / Knowledge Base Space templates, there are lots of tips for FAQ management, rolling out user guides, and posting links for training videos. They might inspire a space for first-level troubleshooting for students, teachers, and lab managers.
Lots of fun stuff to investigate!
I always think of it this way, if it's in a spreadsheet, should it be in Wrike. So I would start looking at Excel files people are actively using and if they have to share those. Some will be great to put into Wrike and others not.
I support Shelly Erickson comment. We look at what we are doing excel along with any workflows/process steps and the build this into Wrike.

Honestly, as a former high school teacher in the US, I want to echo Pietro's comment about school usage. Much of what department chairs, band directors, theatre directors, and administrators do already fits into project management, but it's not clearly identified and supported in the same way. I feel like this would be a great space to grow support and training.
