Automatic update of summary chart

I would like to have an automatic update of summary chart on the folder when i apply filter on the task list to show exactly the situation and not all the task of the project

I'm thinking of a workaround you could use for now 🤔
 
One way that comes to mind is to create a temporary-working Folder for summary chart display. You can then add tasks to this Folder so that you only see the summary chart for these tasks only. These tasks will live in both Folders. This won't affect the Folder where all the tasks were originally created. 
 
You can then remove these tasks from that temporary-working Folder whenever you like, and add others if you wish. So overall this Folder would be just to see the summary chart for tasks you want to see. I understand this requires a little bit of extra effort but you may find it useful for now.

Thank you for your feedback but with this way, i need to add manually the task / remove task to the temporary folder so it's additionnal manipulation and risk. It will be great to have this dynamic wiex with the current filter.

Hi Francis, got it! Are you routinely applying a particular set up filters to the same Folder/Project? If that's the case a Dashboard Widget would be great for getting a list of the tasks which meet specified criteria. However, Dashboards show a list of task titles not a count of tasks which meet the criteria (though you could get to the count with one click from the widget). 

Suggesting just in case that helps, but even if it does, we're passing the feedback on to the Product Team.

Thank you for your feedback, I am typically in this case of dashboard. I want the information of the dashboard convert into a chart to show directly the situation.
