Multiple Templates in one Project Request Form
Hi
I've run into a situation where I would like to use one request form to feed multiple templates.
The request from would serve as a master "Content" request form. Depending on the content required, the submitter would choose one or multiple content options and the form would allow me to link those specific template workflows to the content selected.
ie
- Web Article is selected and the Web Article template is populated.with dates etc
- Linked In Blog is selected also and the Linked In template is populated with dates etc
- Digital Signage - etc....
Otherwise I have a unique form for each request OR I can only choose one template and that is proving to be confusing.
Thank you
Stacey

Hi Stacey, great to hear from you again!
This sounds like a great idea but just so I'm certain we're on the same page; your suggestion will result in answers mapping1 to predefined template Folders, depending on the criteria/choice the requester has selected?
Let me know if I've misunderstood this in any way 🙂
I also need one Marketing request form to create multiple predefined template Folders/Projects for:
- Blog posts (with task dates)
- Homepage Banner (with task dates)
- Email (with task dates), etc...
Hi Stephen
I'd like to have one request form allow the creation of several template workflows - they can feed into one folder (in my case my Requested Job Folder).
So in my example above the Web Article will create a project from "Web Article Template" and on the same form have the Linked In Article create a project from the "Linked In Template".
Same project, just multiple deliverables.
Hope that helps.

That's perfectly clear now Stacey, thanks for that. I can definitely see this as something our Product Team would be interested in so I'll be sure to bring it to their attention and update this thread if/when I have any more info to share here.
@Sylvia, thank you for your vote here it really helps our teams understand the popularity and usefulness of suggestions! And welcome to the Community 🤗
Yes please! This would be SO helpful!
Hi Stephen - its been a while since I've submitted this request. The need still exists and it would save me ALOT of set up time.
Has there been any conversation around this?

Yes - I have a similar need for a request form which kicks off a templated task. We are using the checkbox field type to designate the one or many digital projects applicable. Each checkbox needs a new task (example: Program = Facebook and/or website and/or paid search). If somebody selects Facebook, we need one Templated task specific to our Facebook Program. If they select Website, we need a different templated task. But if they select both Facebook and Website - we need BOTH templated tasks kicked off.
The use of subtasks would be somewhat helpful, but then somebody as to own and manage the parent task. And if only one sub-task is created, then that is multiple steps to manage multiple tasks unnecessarily.
Hi everyone, thanks for adding your comments here. Our Product team has visibility of this feature suggestion, and getting more votes here will help estimate its popularity. I'll mention this thread to other members if there are similar questions on the Community 🤝

You certainly have my vote on this. Would be great for our events team. Giving people the ability to check off all the marketing items they'll need and having this create individual templates would be amazing.
We need this as well. We are in the process of implementing Wrike and ran into this roadblock. Instead of having the requester determine what they need, we want them to answer questions that determines what and where the request enters our process. Preferrably, we would have one dynamic request form, that based upon how the requester answers the question will create a task and/or project. However, Wrike does not offer this capability currently. It would really help the user experience if we offered different templates (projects or tasks) based upon how they answer questions in the form.
I have this same need. My advertising team has multiple products which each have their own blueprint - but a sales lead may have sold a package of 12 different kinds of ads - I don't want them to have to enter 12 different requests.
I have the same need. It would benefit our sales people by being able to select which product they sold to a customer, given a customer could order 1 product or several products. Each product sold would be a different template.
Ie.
Salesperson sold products A, B and C to customer. Templates A, B and C would then kick off for the customer so the work could start being fulfilled.
I agree that this would be super helpful!
We have the same need, to be able to create tasks based on different templates from one request form.
Our company could benefit from this as well.
We have our Web team and our Creative team needing to create two projects that are separate from each other at the time of a form submission.
Upvoted! 😀
This would be helpful to my team as well
Its got my vote. I'm dealing with multiple departments here and find the single form limiting.
Our team would greatly benefit from this! We have many products and each product we offer has it's own set of requests that need to be routed to appropriate departments with appropriate templates & folder tags.
Our account management team has to manually submit each request one a a time due to lack of this functionality and it is extremely daunting. I would love to be able to streamline our requests. It would be huge for our business.
Thank you,
Heather
This would be an amazing feature to have. It would streamline our processes incredibly and save our team hours of time a day.
Hey everyone, a quick update - the team is currently looking into implementing the ability to map certain answers to subprojects / subtasks. It is, however, possible to add subtasks to tasks/projects that are created from request forms. You can read more about this here.
As soon as I have another update for you I'll let you know 😊
Ditto. It will be nice for a single dynamic request form to use multiple templates. My team needs this. Every project in Marketing has its own template / blueprint. Looking forward to hearing more updates!

Any Updates on this? My team also needs more dynamic forms.
Lea Labastida Does it help that it's possible to add conditional branching, like folders or subtasks, depending on the chosen option in a question?

Just chiming in with major support for this feature!
Thank you for adding your support here Emma Melville🙌🏼
Just chiming in as well! This feature would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
Stacey - Would this feature of dynamic requests help:
With a single select question, you can replace the task type. This would let you pick different task types / blueprints / templates based off the answers to the questions:
Voicing my support for this. The current ability to only add subtasks or replace the existing task does not get me what I need. I would like to be able to have the for default to one task AND add another, independent, task when a certain option is selected.
For example, when we onboard, we have a website bio form - it will always generate a website bio. However, if a new hire also holds a certain title, I would like the form to ALSO create a SEPARATE press release task.
