[Status: Not Planned] Display Start Date
Wrike has been a great project management tool and we are very pleased with its rich features. Some of our project relies on the start dates and it would be nice to be able to choose to display on the list whether as Start Date or End Date

I don't mind either, but being able to choose start date or end date (or even in the future, custom field date) may make the display as the list much more simple.

Feels like a huge handicap without both start/due date sortable columns in the same main task list.
Usually we just access our main task list with the start date as default sorted view, and as a secondary view I will double check deadlines weekly to make sure time allotments are workable. So there is a back and forth on the same list without having to go to different views, reports, etc.
By just having deadlines showing, it always feels like I am behind. Not intuitive without start date column next to it.
Glad to see that others are interested in this feature!
Ideally there would be an option in our individual settings to display the date range in the list view, in addition to the ability to sort the list by start date or end date.

I would like to bring this idea back to the top and add one more piece. I would like My Work and Dashboards to reflect the start date. If a task has a time frame, it doesn't show as due until the end date but really I am due to start work on it now.
Start dates listed on the project report would be helpful see both when a project is starting and ending when sorted by an owner to be able to understand quickly where the is capacity in project managers/owners.
My team could really use this feature as well. Often I feel like they only see their due dates --- and often overlook how much time was allotted and leave a task to do on the final day/days not realizing they should have started it sooner... have a start and stop time would be great.
I have requested this feature in many different formats. It seems so simple and so obvious. Please Wrike add this!

I have been able to solve this using Airtable. It has way more flexibility and syncs better with other tools. I have been a Wrike fan since 2013, but not addressing simple things like this has me looking to other solutions for sure.

I'm new to this thread but also really need to see start dates. As it stands the work-arounds I've created as an alternative to easily viewing start dates are cumbersome at best.
Can you tell us what we as a community can do to move this request along? Is there a petition we can gather signatures for? It seems like such a waste for a basic request to not make any progress in 3 years...

Hi there! I'd like to echo Joey and Elizabeth's comments above. It would be very beneficial to my team to be able to view the date range of a task in the list view as well as their dashboards to see the total timeframe a task should be worked on instead of just the due date. We experience a lot of confusion around when something should be worked on and what should be prioritized based on how many days we have to work on a task with only the due date visible.

Hello! I've literally been asking for this since the beginning of 2017. I agree with others that it seems like a really simple update that shouldn't take so long to implement. How about this -- I'm not going to continue as a Wrike advocate to potential new clients until this is implemented 😆

And the wrike support team doesn't seem to want to consolidate them. Honestly, we left Wrike after 7 years because of this and other issues. They don't seem to care any more about the small/mid market after the acquisition.
You should check out Clickup. It's got this feature and then some!
