[Not planned (Released in Wrike Labs)] Due date-time

I want to be able to define a due time for tasks, not just due date. There are specific , time sensitive, tasks that need to be delivered on a specific time during the day. At the moment we need to enter this information at the task title which is not ideal.

Also using the "duration" doesn't work because the team then needs to agree on a convention i.e. 4 hours of duration means 1pm . And what about 9pm? How would we indicate that?

Been waiting 3 years for this from Wrike. Pretty, pretty please can we get the time due feature? Adding a separate reminder in our calendars is double work.

Hi Anastasia, if possible could you include a start time as well as a due time? We have recurring tasks that happen at specific hours (dedicated client support time blocks) that need to be scheduled.

Thanks for the great product!

@Linda, thanks for adding this comment here, having a start time as well as a due time would definitely make sense. :)

Adding my voice as a prospective user (we're trialing Wrike). Our Implementation Coordinator currently sets up projects with major tasks that span several weeks. Wrike works great for this part of it. However, she also needs to set appointments for technicians and clients to connect so they can complete those tasks.  It’s not enough for us to say “We’re scheduled to train you on 4/10.” We need to be able to specify that “training goes from 11:00am-3:00pm on 4/10.”  We need those appointments to populate Outlook.

As far as I can tell, Wrike is head-and-shoulders above the rest for everything else... but this. This one piece is probably going to keep us managing our implementations through Outlook.

Hi Ryan, thank you for sharing your thoughts here! I know you mentioned Outlook, but in case it helps you or other teams, I wanted to say that we recently released an integration with Google Calendar, which allows you to create a calendar event right from a task. This sounds like something that could help with scheduling the implementation processes, and I understand that you're looking for something not limited to Google. Thanks again for posting your comment here, those details are really useful!

Same here. For us this feature is essential, and the only thing that stop us from purchasing a subscription

It looks like this is one of the most popular feature requests at this point.

Anastasia, do you think this can get on the roadmap/be implemented  anytime soon? We are struggling with out it.

Hi Konstantinos, thanks for your active participation here! I checked in with our Product managers, and while this isn't on the current roadmap, the discussions here do help start conversations with our Product Team, who actively monitor feedback posted on the Community. I've made a special note of this request for the team, and though it isn't possible to work on all requested functionality at once, your comments really help understand what different teams are looking for. Turning to these conversations is particularly helpful when our team evaluates the future roadmap and plans, so thank you for taking the time to keep this discussion going!

Assigning both date and time to tasks is becoming more and more critical for managing my team. There is a common expectation among my team that there should be a way to assign a time of day to tasks since they can choose a date and duration - especially with Google Calendar integration.

I routinely field inquiries from co-workers that go something like "I know this is a stupid question, but I can't seem to find how to set a time of day to a task in Wrike. I'm sure it's right there in front of me - I just can't seem to find it!"

This functionality would not only be a huge help for task planning with my team (and deeper calendar integration), there is the expectation that this functionality is already there given the related functions that Wrike already provides.

I highly encourage the option to add "time of day" functionality to tasks. Thanks!

I will only subscribe this app once the due time is implemented. i think it's very common and crucial function for project management.

Yes please!  This functionality is becoming business critical in terms of task management and we would love to have the benefit of this.  I may one person but I speak on behalf of 80 users!

Setting up a time specific task (i.e. meeting)  and then receiving notification when the task is due is a MUST for all of our team. Thanks!!

Please make this as a feature. That way i could do high level and low level project management from a single tool.

Hi!

We have the same wish here! so yes please!

A common calendar with specific dates and times would improve our planning of common activities.

I am so pleased with the way Wrike listens to their customer base. Number one on my wishlist was recurring tasks and now that we're trialing it in the beta my team is extremely pleased! Now, that makes the time issue number one on my wishlist! Our previous software, Gqueues, allowed us to schedule things at distinct times and integrate (in a very similar way to Wrike!) the dates/times into our Google Calendar. I'm really hopeful that this feature will get the attention it deserves. Is there anything my team can do to help get this on Wrike's roadmap? It would dramatically improve the adoption of Wrike in my company.

What Emily said ^^ We love how you have been listening to our requests and have been sharing regular updates (thank you Anastasia!). It looks like this feature request I submitted in Jan, is now # 1 is terms of "popularity" (comments, upvotes etc) so I am sure it will get on the product roadmap at some point.

Back in May I had the chance to talk to one of Wrike's PMs and at that point it sounded like this feature hadn't made it to the roadmap yet but hopefully it did in the meantime.

Any word on when we might see this? I'm a product manager myself, so I know you're not going to promise anything, but it'd still be good to know whether it's worth sticking around or cutting bait and going with another service. We're going into our implementation season soon and we need something that can handle scheduling.  Thanks.

Hi everyone! @Emily and @Konstantinos, thank you so much! Making sure your feedback and requests get through to Product Managers here are definitely a priority for us on the Community Team :) @Ryan, I still don't have any dates to share, and it isn't on the planned roadmap at this point. That said, time planning is an experience we are talking about a lot here, so even though we don't have anything concrete to share, this post and your ideas here pop up all the time during these conversations. Thank you, everyone, for your contributions!
