ย
Please tell us about yourself, your role, and your industry ๐ค
ย
I am a Creative Technology Manager at Syneos Health. We are a full-service, and end-to-end healthcare company, which provides services ranging from Clinical Trials, Patient Engagement to marketing & advertising and more for our clients. My role is to support Wrike for over 2100 users.
ย
Your Wrike story: when did it start and how did it evolve?
ย
It start in 2017, and we rolled this out to one of our Advertising groups, GSW Columbus - for about 300 users. After planning, pilots, testing, and adjusting, we successfully rolled this out in 2018, and since then have expanded across our organization to all our agencies, PR, medcomms, Corp, IT, and many other teams and business units.
ย
What were your top challenges before using Wrike?
ย
Adoption and change management is always the hardest part. Getting teams to use Wrike, the way it's intended, keeping this simple, but consistent.
ย
Share one of your most common use cases and how you use Wrike to increase your productivity.
ย
Request forms to create new projects and work is probably the primary case for increasing productivity. This not only standardizes ways of working, but it also saves time for our PMs - who no longer have to spend time building anything manually in Wrike.
ย
What are the key Wrike features you consider yourself an expert in? Any advice for members who'd like to improve the same Wrike skills?
ย
As the Wrike Subject Matter Expert at our office, I consider myself an expert in just about everything in Wrike. From helping users get logged in, to features and functionality, to training users on various topics, to coming up with better and more efficient ways to streamline processes - In order to be successful, I have to know quite a bit. I would recommend for anyone wanting to refine and improve their Wrike Skills, bookmark Wrike's Help Page AND sign up for Wrike Discover courses!
ย
Could you describe your experience with Wrike in one sentence?
ย
Wrike allows our teams to seamlessly interact and collaborate on work, in a way that fuels our productivity and breaks down natural barriers in day-to-day communication and workstreams by providing a source of truth for teams.
ย
How did Wrike's Community play a role in your Wrike journey?
ย
HUGE.. any time I had or have a question, or can't figure something out - the Community is the first place I check to find answers!
๐ฅ Rapid Fire Questions ๐ฅ
The approximate number of tasks you create per day ๐ข
Me - I mostly create test tasks and work. But for our account, I would say we create thousands of tasks every single day.
ย
Three essential things in Wrike you can't live without 3๏ธโฃ
Request Forms (blueprints), Inbox (and @mentions), Wrike Proof (posting, commenting, reviewing)
ย
One Wrike feature you'd want everyone in your life to use and why ๐ง
Request forms - because they make everything that much easier!
ย
A piece of advice you wish you've had received when you started using Wrike ๐งโ๐ซ
I wish you'd had the Wrike Space templates - or even Spaces when we started - this is a game changer for new teams coming on board.
ย
Anything else you'd like to share with Wrike's Community ๐
Thank you Wrike and Wrike Community for spectacularly changing the way we work every day to make our work life easier!
Thanks for sharing, Sherrie! Overwhelmed that your team creates thousands of tasks daily! Thanks for your recommendation to use request forms, we need to do that more on our team.
