Collaborators - Enterprise Pinnacle Subscription
Our design department receives 'Brief Forms' that we have created from all over the world. Most of these briefs are raised by collaborator license holders, but the very restrictive access is causing us real problems. Ideally we could do with them being able to Guest Review, Share Briefs (that they themselves have created) and add subtasks. Am i missing something? I have looked into access roles in the hopes I could add something there but it seems all they can do is raise a brief and that's it.
Hello Lauren Crozier-Attewell, thanks for your post!
Have you considered using Request forms in combination with Approvals?
Collaborators cannot create tasks right in the Workspace, however, there is an option to add conditional subtasks within the Request form, so the tasks would appear automatically, if the relevant reply is selected. Could you please try this kind of setup and see if it will be sufficient for your Collaborators?
Hope that helps. 🙂

We have recently started using collaborator licenses and have been loving it! To allow our external contacts to see the current events on the schedule, I have shared that specific folder and calendar with them. This allows them to see what we are working on without allowing them to see more then that specific folder/tasks. It also allows them to @mention people in the task if there is any discrepancies. We have not loosened up the permissions for them to reduce updates in various ways. However they can still see and call out anything that needs to be updated.
Hope this helps!
Darina Kyrstan Mckay thank you for your comments - our business requires the brief forms to be more interactive, they need to be reactionary so Darina's suggestions won't work because that is making changes to the template when we need the Brief Owner to be able to be able to make changes to the brief they raise and send. I have now booked a 1-1 hopefully some solutions can be found!
