ASSIGN TASK TO GROUPS WITH AUTOMATIONS

You're right, while it's possible to automatically assign users upon some triggers, it's not currently possible to assign User groups

Hi Nick Barrett, please allow me to share a little detail on how we process Product Feedback. We receive many great ideas on Community, and we pass on all feedback to our Product team. If you'd like to find out more, this article explains what happens after we receive Product feedback. 

We check with our team and assign a status after a thread receives more than 60 upvotes according to our Product Feedback Guidelines & Statuses. This suggestion at the moment needs more support. In the meantime, if there are any updates in relation to this suggestion, we'll be sure to update you here. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Are not many Wrike users using automations? This seems like a very worthy update. The idea being when tasks need to be assigned by a manger of a group the tasks are assigned to the group and the manger can then assign, or potentially any member of a group can take the task from the groups pool of work as they need. This also unclutters a mangers tasks list to just their personal tasks and not an avalanche and mix of tasks that need to be assigned to members of the group...

Is this being worked on at all? It's such an important feature.

This is now possible with automation: 

Assign to users from a group: While it’s not yet possible to assign groups as entities, we're offering a handy workaround with automation. You can now select user groups for assignment in automation, and each person from the group (up to 25 people for usability and performance reasons) will be assigned when the rule is triggered. This feature is great for assigning a task to a team, allowing them to decide who should perform the work.

Lisa, since this is available in automation, is there any idea when it would be possible to manually add groups as assignees?
