Assignee filter not showing values

Has anyone else noticed that when modifying filters on their filter presets, the assignee field shows no values (even though values were assigned, and the filters are definitely working as if they are still assigned)?

There are ways to "wake it up", by playing around with filters and/or switching back and forth between filter presets (I haven't found the easiest method), and the values begin to show up again: 


I haven't tested enough yet to find the simplest way to recreate this bug.
