Feature Updates
- Approvals - Files Only Option in Custom Workflows ✅
When you add an approval to your custom workflow, you can now select to start approvals for files only. This way, the task/folder/project approval will not be started, and you won't have to do additional clicks to finish them.
- File Permalinks - a New Icon in Description Field 📎
When you paste a file permalink in the description field, it's converted into an attachment icon with the filename and extension. Clicking the permalink will open the file in proofing view in the same tab.
If you don't have access to the task, project, or folder containing this file, you will still see the permalink unconverted.
- Request Forms - New Look Section 🌱
We've reworked the design of the Request Forms section that you see when submitting a form. The functionality is the same, but the look is all new and fresh.
Fixes
- Priority Sorting Applied to Excel Exports ⚙️
When some of you chose to export tasks sorted by title, and those tasks also had priority set up, the tasks were sorted by priority in the resulting file. This has been fixed.
- Weekends Displayed Incorrectly in Report Builder
In accounts where Sunday is set as the first day of the week, some of you saw that Friday and Saturday were highlighted in red as weekends instead of Saturday and Sunday. This was happening if you created reports and tried to set a custom time frame for the "Created day" filter. It's now fixed 👍
- File Editor Not Available on Some Files
When some of you tried to edit a file, you sometimes couldn't see the edit button. This was connected to the file being locked by other users and lock/unlock not being processed correctly. Now it's fixed!
- Blueprints Duplicated via Request Forms Not Tagged Correctly
When some users submitted request forms set to create a project or task from a blueprint, the created work item wouldn't get tagged in locations specified in the blueprint. Fixed 🛠️
- Filter for Guest Approvals Not Saved in Dashboards
In dashboard widgets based on files, when some of you tried to apply filters "Files in approval" > "Guest Review" > "In Progress" or "Finished," the filter would get cleared after a page refresh. The same happened with two other filters based on approvals and approvers. We fixed it 👌

Lisa the addition of file permalinks is a game-changer! File #permalinks make it so much easier to share files with my project team and copy them to related tasks. And, the new Request Forms layout provides a more intuitive interface for Space admins 😇
