InDesign Extension links break every time InDesign updates

Each time Indesign updates, all of my links to tasks within the extension break and I have to reload a new file, and move the previous to "not in review." This is problematic since my outside reviewers links also break since I've loaded a new file, so they are unable to see previous versions and comments. How can this be fixed? Or, is it just something to live with since Wrike is unable to automatically resolve the links when InDesign updates.
