Mass adding tasks to projects already created

Hello 🙂

This may be a little niche, so apologies if no one else has come across a need for this...

We have projects that are built from a series of blueprints (currently 70 active) that reference each event. However I want to make a change/ add a series of extra tasks to these blueprints but I can't seem to find a way to "roll out" the changes to all active projects that have come from the blueprints. Is this possible or can anyone suggest a work around save manually adding tasks 70 times.

Many thanks,

Kyle

Hi Kyle,

The easiest way to do this is likely going to be to create the 70 tasks once (either by manually creating them in Wrike, or by creating them in Excel and them using Wrike's import feature to make all the tasks), and then use the List view to select all of these new tasks, right click on the selected tasks, and choose Duplicate. This will allow you to duplicate these tasks into each different project (but yes, you're going to need to do this duplicate process for each project you want to add the tasks to).

Using the checkbox "Add another" is going to help you a lot because it'll save all the selections you made for the other checkboxes and allow you to just change the "Location" to duplicate into.

Thank you Sarah I unfortunately thought this would be the case but was worth a sanity check!

Thanks for your help and speedy response.
