Access denied message - Wrike for Mac

I am unable to access our Wrike account through the Wrike for Mac app. I get a consistent "access denied message"

Elaine Hi! I am having the same issue as previous poster. I logged into my desktop app with an old email address by accident and now it won't let me log out to enter my correct one. I have redownloaded the desktop app multiple times, and still get the same error message (attached) every time I open the program. Is there a way I can log out? Thanks!

Hi Erich Franck, the general recommendation from our Support Team is a full reinstallation. These are the steps you should follow to achieve it:

1) Uninstall the Wrike desktop app the same way you would uninstall any other app.
2) Once uninstalled, (IMPORTANT STEP) delete the folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Wrike
 
To access that hidden "Library" folder, open Finder, click on "Go" in the header, and hold the "option" key. This makes hidden folders visible.
 
3) After you delete the "Wrike" folder from ~/Library/Application Support, proceed to download the installer file from the Apps & Integration page.


In case this doesn't work, please let us know and we will open a ticket with our Support Team so that they can investigate your case and provide you with an accurate reply 👍
