Add task to folder on status change

It would be great if we can create a custom workflow that would add a given task to a specified folder when we choose the designated status. 

We currently have a list of leads that populate in "Prospects" folder with a "new lead" status through a form. Only our sales team and management have access to that folder. Once the status changes to "confirmed lead" I would like the task to be added automatically to the "development" folder as well so our development team gains visibility to it.
