Table view - share via url / link

We use table view exclusively for our meeting agenda's, therefore it's also the default view of all our meeting projects in wrike.

However, a part from the highly annoying fact of not being able to fix the default settings in the table view (like ascending sorting etc), what's also troubling us, is that you cannot share the link to the project in table view with your attendees via e-mail.

If you want to access the link to share the project with others, you immediately need to switch to the list view, which is most confusing for people opening the link. why is it that you can only copy the link in the list view? this seems unlogic.

Hi Elyn, thanks for posting 🙂 I really like the idea!

As a workaround, I'd suggest bookmarking the page to people who regularly attend the meetings you've mentioned - in that case, whenever someone opens Wrike via that bookmark, it'll open the "saved" Table View of a project. What do you think?

Hi Lisa, we've been working with your suggestion, but we can't help but get frustrated of what a giant work-around this is.

For each meeting, you have to make a bookmark to be able to get your attendees to see your meeting agenda in right view right away.

you get the option to set the table view as your standard lay-out for a project, but you don't get the same options to share this view like you do in the list view. I still don't get why this is. Is this something that will be fixed any time soon?

Thank you

I think I'm having the same issue.  How do I link to a Table View?

Hey Andrew Boekestein, thank you for reaching out!

With the New Wrike Experience, it's now possible to copy a permalink of a primary view, including the Table View 🤗

So great!  Thank you, thank you!  This really opens up a lot of functionality.  For instance, I'm going to create a tab in Microsoft Teams that will display my project table.

To understand... The table view is available across different tools in Wrike, but the custom view can be shared only in Calendar?

I an frustrated the Table View for Projects get lost every single time I move to a different project, and due to the position of the + button, I must scroll horizontally to add each one of the fields I need into the table... Cannot say it takes hours, but it is pretty annoying to repeat each time, several times per day.

Hi Eduardo Cordoba, thank you for chiming in. To avoid scrolling horizontally, you can click on the Fields tab and toggle the relevant fields to make them visible:

Would that help?

Thanks @.... That feature is very useful and makes easier to toggle values in a single step.

There is still the issue that the columns are added in different positions each time - I hasn't identified a pattern, but it would be great to have the chance to "right click and add column to the left/right" for all fields.

I hope the Wrike team keeps in consideration the chance of having a feature to save the selections for fields as a default view for a project, folder or event better, an entire workspace.
