Mass Edit
Hi there.
PLEASE add a Mass Edit option on the Gantt room. If I need to move several tasks at the same time is very tedious to do it one by one, actually it does make sense. The "Apply the rules of date alignment to the affected tasks?" Is not effective for a situation when you need to move many folder tasks at once.
Hey Alvaro, thanks for reaching out here 🙂 I wonder if shifting a dependency chain can help you - if you have a chain of dependent tasks, then you can mass reschedule them on the Gantt Chart. Gaps between tasks are preserved when you reschedule tasks in this way. Please let me know what you think 🤝

Hi. Thanks for the reply
I haven't tested yet but I was thinking to create Null tasks and create chain dependencies to the tasks I want to move. It may work?.
Hi there.
I tested but it only works for the main folder and not the subfolders. Creating a dependency to subfolders the structure is readjusted if I move the main Null task. Please check the pic so you can understand my folder structure. What would be the best approach if I need to move a couple a week several Main folders by keeping it subfolder structure?
Alvaro, hey, sorry for the long reply.
I tested it and Shifting a dependency chain only works for one folder/project that you're working with. It means that you can't move chains of tasks from different projects or folders simultaneously. Sorry if I misunderstood you, please let me know.

Hi Lisa. Thanks for your reply. I just organized the tasks a little different to be able to move them a little faster now with out creating dependencies. Thanks for taking the time to reply this question tough. .
How can I turn on "date alignment to the affected tasks" on sub tasks?
Hi Itay Gur-Arie, Wrike prompts this pop-up when the parent task dates change. You can find more information here.
