[New To Wrike] Create a Request Form - launch a Task from Template
Request Forms are a lifesaver in many cases, just take a look around the Community, it's a very popular topic of conversation. We're happy to let you know that its development continues!
So what's new?
Before, only a Project from a template could be created, along with a regular Task or Project.
Now you can set a Request form to create a Task from a template.
Technical Stuff:
- A duplicate of the template Task is created in the Workspace each time someone uses the form to submit a Request.
- Tasks in the new Project or Subtasks of the new Task (created upon form submission) have the same assignees, descriptions, and attachments as Tasks/Subtasks in the template.
- Admins creating the Request form can also choose to reschedule Subtasks in the newly created Task.
Our Product are always happy to hear your feedback, and so are we 🙂

Hi, thanks so much for implementing this! This has been our wishlist ever since we started using Wrike. One thing that I noticed is that the current implementation is missing is the subtask prefixes. Unfortunately that's still necessary for us. Is this something that will be added?
Ditto what Jocelyn said. This would be really great for us to have.
Awesome!
I have the same thought as the other posters. I'm missing the "Add prefix for all tasks and subfolders created from template" option when I choose "Create task from template" while modifying a Request Form.
Thank you!
