How can I move subtasks out from underneath a parent task?
I want to move subtasks out from underneath a parent task and into a top-level folder. (see image) The only way I can figure out how to do this is to duplicate tasks.
If I do mass edit and click move to demand gen folder...nothing moves out from under the incorrect parent task (OD Webinar)
Any thoughts?

Hi Devin!
To do this, you would use the "Detach" function. Right-click on the task you want to detach in the list view and select the detach command. Keep in mind though that when you detach it from the parent task, it might also detach it from the folder! If the folder is slightly grayed out, that means it's in that folder because the parent task is. Just be sure to manually tag the task before you detach it and you're golden!
Folder grayed out (task is in the folder because the parent task is)
Not grayed out (task is directly tagged to this folder)
Ah, got it....thank you! :-) Such a simple fix.
Hi Devin, if you're in the Gantt view, select the task then hit "Ctrl + [" (control key plus left bracket). Conversely, you can use "Ctrl + ]" (control key plus right bracket) to turn a task into a sub-task of a task at an equivalent level above.
Where do Unassigned(detached) Tasks go? They are not searchable and they do not go to the REcycle Bin. My Companies Parent Folder has, since the new layout showing PERSONAL, disappeared.
@Jason Hi, thanks for reaching out! I'm raising a Support ticket for you, someone from the team will be in touch soon about this 👍
