Hi Thomas, welcome to the Community and thanks for posting 🙂
Good news! An updated Description field is currently being rolled out and not yet available on all accounts. Accounts created before 08/24/18 have the current live editor with no ability to change the text color yet, only highlight it. We'll update you here when the feature is rolled out fully.
