Hi Jennifer,
These are Date Constraints. Date constraints signal the earliest date that a task can begin. Once a date constraint is in place, the task cannot be automatically rescheduled to a date prior to the constraint. A date constraint is automatically added to the dependent task when you reschedule it to a different start date.
