[Status: Launched! ๐] Clickable links in description in External Request Forms
ๅบๅฎใใใๆ็จฟHi there,
I have a request, I will explain the use case.ย Currently there is no way to hyperlink to a document inside a description in the forms.
I have a PDF form that I have customers read and sign... ideally I would use wrike for both.
Customers would log in to their loyalty portal and be prompted to "Read and sign the agreement", they click the link and it directs them to the Wrike external form I have created.
At the top it would say "Agreement" and in the descriptor it would say something like:
"Please review the Acknowledgment Letter [here].ย After reviewing it, fill out the form below.ย The fulfillment of this form will act as signing to the agreement between Company X and you."
The [here] portion would be a link to the policy.
The wrike portion would just be a simple checkbox "I agree", they then hit next and type their name/email and now we have a copy in Wrike that proves that they agreed to sign the agreement.
Thanks
Thank you for supporting the suggestion Tim Quirk!
Soraya Jungย Thank you for reaching out! How are you currently providing your clients with the documents? Are you using guest reviews?ย ย

Incredibly interested in this functionality. The workaround for copying and pasting the link is not an WCAG compliant solution to this problem, so we unfortunately cannot use this. Hoping for an update soon.
Thank you for your support here Victoria Wynn, and welcome to the Community! ๐ค

I also have a use case for hyperlinks within our request forms as well. We need to provide instructions and design file templates for our internal customers and an email address for our request helpdesk in case they run into issues. These are non-designers having to try to design, so we need to provide them with as much upfront support as we can. Providing the links to instructions and design files in the form also reduces the number of problem requests my team will receive.
Welcome to the Community Staci Norman, and thank you for sharing your use case and support for the suggestion!ย

We've recently been experimenting with a full-team transition to wrike for internal communication. This would be an awesome feature to see!

Any update on this topic? Having the ability to link or download an attachment in a form would be really useful. Currently using the workaround of copy/paste and short URLs.

Hi - Any updates on the ability to add hyperlinks into a form? This could make all the difference in our use of Wrike over other options
ย
Thank you

This would be a game changer for my team. We need to link a PDF document of our catalog for clients ordering custom artwork. We currently have a check list of styles offered but a link to the catalog pdf would allow them to see the differences in said styles and make informed decisions when filling out the checklist. This could provide them with the sort of upfront information we require them to have. We are currently wasting an inordinate amount of time having to explain things later on.ย

+1 this feature!! We have video catalogues listed on our request forms for people to look through before completing the request, and this would be super helpful to have the links hyperlinked.ย

Soraya Jung I asked our rep about it this week. There isn't a workaround unfortunately. You can put links in the form fields, but users have to copy and paste them into their browser.ย
This would be a really helpful feature for us too, so hopefully Wrike will implement it.ย
Hi Stephanie Williford, welcome to the Community!

I did upvote this. We really need this added. We are asking our folks to copy and paste a link to a Wrike Calendar to make sure their requested date for a Webinar is available, and this is not going over very well. I've been searching the net to try and find a way to insert html to make it work. No luck. PLEASE add this feature.

I'm honestly shocked, this is a basic feature all your competitors have. Help this community understand why this has not been put on the roadmap, I mean are we in a time vortex? Are y'all investing any time or resources on improving platform to remain competitive, by now you should have enough calls for this feature to be embedded the first request was made FIVE YEARS AGO ... CRAZY!!
Hi Jean-Pierre Nonnet, thank you for sharing your feedback here as well. I understand your sentiment; please rest assured that your feedback will be passed on to our Product team. I hope I was able to explain how we work with Product feedback here.

It's been a few months since the last interaction in this thread...any possibility we can take this off the backburner!?ย ๐
There are a couple of docs that need to be linked in the request form, such as our Briefing PPT that users must access, and C/P is not very friendly for this.ย
Hi Steve Mruskovic, thank you for bumping this thread. Unfortunately, status remains for now but we'll be sure to let you know if there are any changes!

Adding interest to this as well - we have the need to create intake forms that include links (particularly in the "thank you" message) that requesters can receive more information through.ย I really would like to see this prioritized by Wrike as an enhancement... note that my follow was the magic 60th number for this.ย
