Automatic Following - Option instead
When I duplicate a project, currently it automatically sets me up to follow every individual task that I created regardless of if I am set up as "Owner" of that project or not. While I could see how this would be useful for some use cases, it isn't ideal in a situation where you are kicking off a project that you then have no ownership of once its created.
Instead, it would be nice if the duplicate box allowed you to turn on or off following for those tasks at the time they are created.

You are right, right now you have to do it manually and it doesn't help if you select all the tasks and try to change the status in one shut from the right panel. You need to do it few more times... I'm assuming it's a bug!
Hi guys, this isn't a bug. As the Project/task creator, you automatically follow this task. This is how many want it to be set up, so even if they assign the task to someone else, they still will see updates and other notifications about the task.
I can see how having an option to have in the duplication options dialog box around following so I'll ensure the Product Team are made aware of this post 👍
