Remember last-viewed filters for list view, and last view used on project/folder

A project management software is meant to maintain a sense of consistency. It's ironic that the settings I set (e.g. filters in list view for All, instead of just All Active) get reset frequently. This also notably happens for last view used for a project/folder (instead of always reverting to default), as well as the "show/hide subfolders", and even which folders you had expanded.

Less pertinent, your chat support system doesn't remember that I click No Sound, and my name on this forum keeps resetting.

yes, agree. I work in my personal folder in Table view. I've made that the default, but whenever I leave it and come back I have to re-collapse everything and  reset date by ascending or descending. I'd like to be able to come back and see it the way I left it.

On Stacy's note of coming back - this happens whether you close the tab, close the app, or even refresh the page/app. Wrike has several bugs which require page refreshes to reset, and doing so also causes everything to reset.

Having to reconfigure your workflow every time is akin to the cleaners coming in at the end of the day and reorganizing your desk - every day.

I had to train the maids to explain - look: I put things where I want them. You please put them back where I had them. How would you feel if I came to your house every day and moved everything around? I feel the same way about Wrike. I organized this how I wanted it (more or less), please keep it that way - why do you insist on moving everything around every time?

Hi Chris, I understand where you're coming from. I can see your suggestion is building some votes too which is great. If and when I have an update from the Product Team I'll comment here again.

Please add this feature for all of the reasons expressed above!! I forget to set the filter and when I am updating project tasks they disappear and I freak out! Then remember that I have to manually change it every time. Also, please make it set the filter for the Gantt view as well.

Agreed.  Allowing users to customize and save preferences/settings should be an option...thanks.

Please advise status on this feature. With multiple projects and folders, it is becoming quite annoying for our users to constantly reset their filters and not have them saved. Help! Thank you.

Also I and my colleagues would greatly appreciate the option to save view and filter settings. It is really annoying to click the same options over and over again.

The strange thing is that with some options it is possible. Now implement this everywhere consistently so that everyone can build their own Wrike environment based on their own preferences.

Hi guys, we've added some saving for filtering on a user-level. If you apply for Status: All Tasks to a Folder or Project and this view will be saved as you navigate away. So when you return during that session the Status: All Tasks will still be the filter.

If you open a new tab or start a new session the filter will reset to Status: All Active.

I also get these questions from the project managers in my team. Those have their own preference of which view they want to see and then set filters accordingly. Fixing views and filters does not seem to be stable. Next day the filters are changed again.

Hi Cees Bakker! Thank you for your comment. 🙋🏻‍♀️

Could you elaborate a bit on the specific questions or suggestions you're hearing from project managers? Since we are eventually moving away from List view, we recommend using the Table view. Currently, in the Table view, the filters, column sorting, and the show/hide subfolders options are sticky. Please feel free to let me know if you need any additional information.

Thank you! 😊
