Generate a Report showing WHERE custom fields are used
We are trying to gain control of custom field creation within our organization as we have had very similar (almost identical) custom fields generated by different users. In an attempt to clean up our current listing, I would like to be able to generate some sort of report showing where the fields are used so we can consolidate to a single custom field and eliminate the duplicates.

Funny enough, I was doing the same thing this week!
So you can't export an excel of your custom fields unfortunately from the settings, however, you can email support and ask for a Custom Fields Report - they just sent mine over a few days after I asked! It didn't include times filled or last filled on though, which is important for us for our audit, so when emailing them I'd ask to include that! I recently reopened my support ticket to ask for those columns to be included so hopefully they can accommodate :)
Otherwise, if you go to your settings > account management > custom fields, you can see that complete table with all the info. I'd suggest sorting based on title so you can see duplicates.
